Duplication and Redundancy

Redundancy for business critical applications

Duplication and redundancy for business critical applications

Redundancy is often viewed as a negative term, but when it comes to IT infrastructure it’s a very important consideration.

Information technology redundancy is the duplication of critical components or functions of a system with the intention of increasing reliability of the system, usually in the form of a backup or fail-safe, or to improve actual system performance

High Availability Systems and Failover Redundancy

High availability is defined as the ability for the system to continue functioning after failure of one or more of the servers. A part of high availability is failover which we define as the ability for client connections to migrate from one server to another in event of server failure so client applications can continue to operate.

At Crell Cloud Solutions we are able to configure a range of high availability and failover systems to achieve maximum uptime and business continuity.
