What is AnyDesk and is the remote connection secure?

AnyDesk uses a proprietary video codec “DeskRT” that is designed to allow users to experience higher-quality video and sound transmission while reducing the transmitted amount of data to the minimum

All connections are made with TLS 1.2 technology which is used in online banking. Connections are secured with asymmetric RSA 2048 key exchanges and offer perfect forward secrecy thanks to Diffie-Hellman Ephemeral Handshakes (DHE) meaning sessions cannot be decrypted by third parties.
